FDA taking public comments on tobacco regulation

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA )is taking public comments through Sept. 29 on how it should implement the regulation of tobacco products. The agency said in a federal register notice that it is particularly interested in approaches and actions it should consider to reduce tobacco use and protect public health.

Comments can be submitted to the agency online at http://www.regulations.gov, or by mail to the Division of Dockets Management [HFA-305], Food and Drug Administration, 5630 Fishers Lane, Room 1061, Rockville, MD 20852. Comments should be identified with the docket number, FDA-2009-N-0294.

Monte_Alto , thanks, that maybe some more folks will comment. I comment a while back. Some of the folks on here may not have. I wonder if I could comment again. May try it. Your blogs are really nice work. Thank you for putting the information together in such a great way.

I did make my comment.  As I understand it they are obligated to read all comments. (?)  I pray they do.

I hope you're correct about this...  I know I worked long and hard to word my comment "Just Right" (if you know what I mean).   Of course, I used common sense and logic, so I doubt if they will "Get It".
