Yo Silver, glad you found your way over!

Now that the Caledonian invasion is starting, how about changing the 'welcome' drink to a wee dram?  megasmile

Hey and hello all.  I smoke 1 1/2 packs a day, that is until I found out about ecigs.  Now I am smoking a whole lot less and hope to be done with that junk soon.  I was introduced to ecigs about a month ago and I absolutely love them.  I could never wrap my mind around the concept until I saw them at the store.  I got an Envy Bliss.  It is the coolest thing I have ever seen.  I bought one and it is a life savor.  Has anyone else heard of the Envy?  I think it is called an M403.  TH is good.  Well say hi, don't be shy!

Welcome Vaperhottie, glad you joined us, I am not familiar with the Envy, but have been using the e-cigarette for over 1 and 1/2 years, I like a 801 atomizer on a mod I made. They have been a life saver for me. There are a lot of e-cigarettes out their with different name, I sort of found one I liked and stuck with it.  The M403 is the type of atomizer your using.

taz3cat,

Thanks for the welcome.  What kind of mod do you have?  I do not really understand the differences in the atomizers.  But what are the differences?  Do they look different or give off different vapor?  I understand that different ones come with different brands.  Pretty interesting stuff.  I have so many questions.  I will have to look into the threads for the answers before I start overloading with questions.  Thanks....

I have a homemade Nicostick, see the DIY e-liquid section, there are pics there of my mods and others. the atomizers come in several basic sizes and are pretty much the same, no matter who sells a PV with a 901 atomizer on it is the same atomizer as on another PV's 901. I can't remember how many different Atomizers there are, I think there is only about 5 or 6, I don't care what they name them.. I use the DS801, B112, 801, penstyle, and they are all basically the the same thing. When I started it was really difficult to find information on the different ones and of course there were not but about 3 different atomizer.

You would be wise to spend some time looking at the information on mods and the different atomizers, I wasted a lot of money on stuff I did not like that much.

I hope Aspen drops by, he is much better at telling people about different-cigarettes and he makes mods for himself and friends.

Hers is a list of current mods out there        http://www.e-savuke.com/modit.htm ( For this page you need to hit the google translate button) Mods simply put utilize different battery capacities or sizes.
Atomizers are a subjective issue, there is low bridge, high bridge, high voltage, cartomizers and they all do the same thing basically (maybe missed afew) hot wire heats up fluid to vapor. I say subjective because some folks say they get better flavor and or longer life with different atomizers.
High bridge and low bridge accomodate different cart designs, high voltage is used for 5+ volts mostly and cartomizers are convienent cause you can load it with more fluid requiring less topping off but the life of a cartomizer can be far less then a standard atomizer due to the way they are manufactured. Cartomizers are becoming popular these days for the conveinence factor. standard atomizers require you to top off every 7 or 8 puffs. I personally use a standard atomizer because I have no experience with the cartomizers. Some users are quite satisfied with the cartomizers tho.  Good luck with everything grinning-smiley-003
